Internet reports have suggested that the 20-year-old, who plays womaniser Chuck Bass, is in a gay relationship with Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald).
However, he quashed the rumours in an interview with the New York Daily News, saying: "It's just because we live together, but we're just mates."
Former Buffy star Michelle Trachtenberg recently signed to appear in several episodes of the teen drama, which begins this Thursday on ITV2.
