Shaw: 'I almost went bankrupt'

Dancing On Ice winner Suzanne Shaw has revealed she almost went bankrupt after splitting with Darren Day.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, Shaw said: "I was told by four different debt advisers that I had no option but to go bankrupt . But I refused.

"I crawled on the floor to hide when bailiffs came knocking."

The former popstar also admitted that she didn't eat so her son Corey could have food.

"I went without food so Corey could eat and kept a penny jar, where I would save enough to make sure I could buy bread and milk when I ran out of food.

"At one point my mum, Janet, who was living in New Zealand, had to order food parcels from a British website."

Shaw is reportedly planning to marry her boyfriend DJ Jason "JK" King next summer.
