Pregnant Katona 'fine' after baby scare

Kerry Katona is "fine" after being hospitalised with suspected pre-eclampsia.

The pregnant reality TV star was treated in Macclesfield, Cheshire this morning after her midwife noticed signs of the potentially life-threatening condition.

However, Katona's swollen legs and ankles were found to have a less serious cause, her spokeswoman confirmed.

She said: "In fact it was water retention and low iron levels, which brought on similar symptoms. That is fantastic news. Mummy and baby are fine."

The I'm A Celebrity... winner recently left the Priory rehab clinic for a fourth time after being treated for bipolar disorder.

She is expecting her fourth child in May, her second with husband Mark Croft.
