Richie Sambora arrested on DUI charge

The guitarist, who was driving with his girlfriend and 10-year-old daughter, was pulled over by police after they spotted his Hummer weaving across the road.
Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Jason Kravetz told People: "He smelled of alcohol [and was] quiet and cooperative, he didn't cause any problems."
Sambora was released from custody in the early hours of Wednesday morning and is due to appear in court for arraignment on May 7.
A friend of Sambora revealed that the news was "shocking" and found it hard to believe that the rock star had been drinking with his daughter Ava in the car.
"[It's] almost too much to believe," the friend is quoted as saying. "He adores Ava and is very protective of her. All I can think is that he made a stupid miscalculation."
Last year Sambora entered a Utah rehab clinic, admitting he suffered from alcohol addiction.
