Amy Winehouse has reportedly agreed to get help for her substance abuse after learning of the death of saxophonist Jason Rae.

The 31-year-old, husband of soul star Corinne Bailey Rae, was found dead in a flat in Leeds on Saturday. A preliminary pathologist's report found that he died of a suspected drug overdose.

Winehouse has worked with Rae's band The Haggis Horns in the past and has now pledged to return to rehab after hearing the news.

A source told the Daily Express: "She says she can't believe this has happened and that she is still alive – and she can't let this be her future. She sees it as a wake-up call that she must stop."

The singer is rumoured to have returned to her old ways after spending two weeks at a top London clinic in January.

Recent reports suggest that her record company may fly her out to Cape Town, South Africa, in a bid to overcome her addictions.
