'Superhero' stars back Barack Obama

Superhero Movie stars Leslie Nielson and Pamela Anderson have voiced their support for Barack Obama in the US Presidential race.

The pair both spoke out in support of the Democrat candidate at their spoof comedy's Hollywood premiere.

Speaking on the red carpet, Anderson said: "I like Obama and I try to like Hillary [Clinton] - I have lots of friends who like Hillary.

"I don't like nasty politics. I think Obama is an inspired leader and I think he's here for a reason. My kids want to grow up to be like him, and I think it will be really fun to have a President that everyone loves and is enduring and smart and powerful.

"He gives me a great feeling. I think he's a great guy."

Naked Gun actor Nielson, 82, commented: "I'm for Barack myself and that's who I will be voting for. I sure will take a chance on him - I think he's a remarkable man."
