Poison drummer arrested on rape warrant

Poison drummer Rikki Rockett has been arrested on suspicion of rape, according to a report.

TMZ claims that the 46-year-old was stopped at Los Angeles' LAX airport on Monday as he was going through customs after disembarking from a flight from New Zealand.

He was taken to LA County Jail and booked on a rape warrant issued in Neshoba County, Mississippi.

The former hairdresser co-founded the US glam metal band with singer Bret Michaels in 1983.

The group had been the opening act at an Easter heavy metal concert in New Zealand's capital Wellington.
