Rupert Grint not ready to appear naked

Rupert Grint has admitted that he would be reluctant to strip on-stage like his Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe.

Radcliffe appeared naked in West End play Equus last year, and he is set to take on the role of Alan Strang again when the production moves to Broadway in the autumn.

During an interview on Al Murray's Happy Hour, which was broadcast last night, Grint was asked if he would consider stripping for a role.

He replied: "No. No, I don't think I could, no. Well, I dunno, maybe in the future, but definitely not now. It's a big step."

Rupert, who plays Ron Weasley in the films, also revealed that one of his most extravagant purchases has been an ice cream van.

"I've had it for a couple of years now," he explained. "I'm just doing it up at the moment, getting a new paint job on it."
