McCartney sparks new romance rumours

Sir Paul McCartney has been enjoying another romantic break with heiress Nancy Shevell.

The music legend has sparked speculation that he is ready for a new relationship after travelling to the Caribbean island resort of Jumby Bay to spend time with Nancy.

"They hired bikes and rode all around the island," a source told The Mirror. "They were laughing and looked like they were having a great time. But it is very early days."

Friends of Sir Paul have confirmed that he is ready to move on from his bitter divorce battle with Heather Mills, but they have denied rumours of a romance with Nancy.

"He is very close to Nancy, they have known each other a long time," one pal explained. "Sir Paul's general feeling is that he was vindicated after the court case. A lot of what was said about him was discounted by the judge. Now all he wants is peace and quiet."

Sir Paul and Nancy were first linked in November last year when they were spotted spending time together in The Hamptons, New York.
