T4 host Alexa Chung has revealed that she wants to present a Radio 4 show about literature.
Chung, who turned down the chance to study English at King's College to pursue modelling, told The Guardian: "I want to be on Radio 4 when I'm older, talking about books. I just don't feel that my education's complete really. I do feel like there's gaps. I don't ever want to stop learning."
Chung admitted she wanted to discuss the work of Vladimir Nabokov and former poet laureate Ted Hughes.
Speaking about Hughes, the 24-year-old said: "He's really good. The one where he's staring at the sea and imagining it's his father. What a clever guy."
Chung also said she had become a fan of poetry because reading books of prose can be too time-consuming.
"I just haven't read anything in so long. I have to read scripts. I've been reading a lot of poetry at the moment because I don't have time to read a book."
