Walsh: 'Girls Aloud don't starve themselves'

Kimberley Walsh has dismissed rumours that members of Girls Aloud suffer from eating disorders.

Speaking to New! magazine, Walsh said that she and Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle all follow a healthy diet.

"Journalists write that we starve ourselves, but it's not true," Kimberley said. "We've all got healthy appetites and we all eat really well."

The singer added: "We eat everything in moderation and we're not obsessive in any way."

Cheryl Cole admitted she found the rumours "annoying" and stressed they wouldn't starve themselves because they are role models.

"We have a responsibility because young girls look at us and we don't want them thinking we're depriving ourselves because we genuinely don't. It's annoying."
