US movie companies have reportedly begun competing for the rights to use Leona Lewis's hit single 'Bleeding Love'.
Several Hollywood firms want the song to soundtrack their next films and believe it could be as popular as Whitney Houston's 1992 smash 'I Will Always Love You' from The Bodyguard.
A source told The Sun: "The offers are for major blockbusters - some just around the corner. It could turn the song into the biggest hit this decade - like a new 'I Will Always Love You'.
"It is unusual for a film company to spend a lot of money on a song unless it has been recorded specifically for the film.
"But, because the song is such a huge worldwide hit - and so perfect for a big movie - they are prepared to make an exception."
Last week, Lewis became the first UK female solo artist to reach the top spot in the US singles chart since Kim Wilde in 1987.
