Kaplinsky three months pregnant

Five News presenter Natasha Kaplinsky is three months pregnant, a spokesman for the channel has revealed.

The 35-year-old began presenting Five News with Natasha Kaplinsky in February and the channel has since seen ratings increase by 72% for its news show. She is reportedly the UK's highest paid newsreader and the first to have her name in the programme title.

A Five spokesman said: "Natasha has been a great hit with our viewers and everyone is delighted by the news."

She married investment banker Justin Bower in 2005.

Kaplinsky quit the BBC for Five last year after agonising over the decision for three months.
