According to The Mirror, the songwriter thanked his popstar wife for giving birth to twins by purchasing diamond jewellery sourced from South Africa.
The earrings have apparently been engraved with the initials of the couple's children Max and Emme.
"It's no secret that J-Lo has expensive taste, so Marc was going to have to spend a serious amount to show her how he feels," said a source.
Lopez gave birth to twins on February 22. It was claimed last month that she had hired a personal trainer from Beverly Hills to help shed her baby weight quickly.
