Cruise would be 'lost' without Suri

Tom Cruise's daughter Suri has been instrumental in helping him cope with his recent troubles.

According to OK!, Cruise would be lost without the one-year-old, his first child with wife Katie Holmes.

The actor's public perception has suffered in recent years following his whirlwind romance with Holmes and negative portrayal of his controversial beliefs.

However, a friend insisted that his love for Suri has been a great comfort, saying: "She is Daddy's little girl, and he doesn't know what he'd do without her.

"It has been the toughest patch Tom has had since his divorce from Nicole Kidman, Katie has been there for him, of course, and she's his rock, but when you see him with Suri, you just melt. He adores her."

Father and daughter were spotted at an LA playground on March 25, where Cruise showed his devotion when the toddler started to cry.

A witness said: "Tom scooped her up, cuddled her and gave her several kisses on her cheek. It was very loving. Tom obviously cares deeply about that little girl."
