Lil' Chris has revealed he hit a "weird" bearded man with a fish while filming his new chatshow.
The incident occurred while he and popstar Shayne Ward were fishing on the River Thames for the pilot episode of Everyone Loves Lil' Chris.
"When we were down on the jetty by the river, I got this fish and I chucked it over the ledge," Lil' Chris told DS. "There was this really weird man with a beard and a metal detector down below and it hit him on the head. In front of Shayne Ward! He didn't know what to do!"
The fish, "the size of a cod you'd get from a fish and chip shop" according to Chris, didn't cause the bearded man any injuries.
However, the incident did leave him feeling confused. "He looked around like it had fallen out of the sky," Chris recalled.
