Pixie Geldof barred from Mariah's party

Pixie Geldof was barred from attending Mariah Carey's 'Excuse My Beauty' party because she is under age, according to Metro.

The 17-year-old was turned away by bouncers at the Bungalow 8 nightclub with organisers overheard to be saying: "Rules are rules, it doesn't matter who she is, she's under age and that's what builds this club's reputation. That's why it's exclusive."

Pixie's sister Peaches attended the party with boyfriend Faris Badwan, frontman for rock group The Horrors.

Mark Ronson, the Arctic Monkeys, the Klaxons and TV presenter Alexa Chung were also at the party but Carey left early, choosing to return to her Penthouse suite.

Her track 'Touch My Body' recently topped the US charts, breaking Elvis Presley's record of 17 US number ones.
