Contract worry led to Naomi T5 incident

Naomi Campbell lost her temper at Heathrow Airport because she was worried about losing a lucrative clothing contract, according to a report.

The supermodel was arrested at the airport on Thursday after she allegedly spat at and assaulted a police officer who tried to calm her down when she was told that one of her bags had gone missing.

It has now been revealed that the suitcase contained branded clothing that Naomi was being paid to wear.

"They announced that not all the baggage was on the plane," one passenger told The Mirror. "Apparently we heard that she went nuts and said, 'No, no, I must have the clothing that is in the suitcase because it is a brand that I have got to wear otherwise I don't get paid'."

Campbell's spokesman said: "Naomi is a working model. Being captured in certain clothes is a basic requirement for any job in the fashion industry. It's part of her livelihood."
