Posh makes 1am panic call to David

David Beckham's recent night out in Los Angeles prompted wife Victoria to make a worried call to her husband at 1am, Grazia claims.

Beckham was taking friend Dave Gardener out in LA while Victoria was back in the UK making plans for her mother's 60th birthday.

A source revealed: "David apparently sent her a text message saying he was going out. When Victoria woke up in the morning and she saw it, she got straight on the phone. She was worried."

The LA Galaxy and England footballer was swamped by photographers and fans as he headed to the Hyde and Villa nightclub.

The source added: "Victoria has no problem with David going out but she is concerned how it all gets blown out of proportion when she's out of the country. If he goes out when she is nowhere to be seen, it seems to give women the wrong idea that he's up for grabs."

Beckham recently admitted his first few months with wife Victoria were "amazing" because they were out of the public eye.
