Lindsay Lohan's former bodyguard David Kim has sued the actress over money owed from past work, Reuters reports.

In a suit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court, David Kim claimed that the actress owes him $55,000 (£28,000).

The amount covers Kim's $4,000 per week fee, along with the cost to cover damages to his car, which was involved in a smash when Lohan's driver made a quick turn to avoid the paparazzi.

Recently, Lohan's mother Dina was ordered to pay Anthony Almedida, a former bodyguard, $300,000 for money he lent her to help start Lindsay's music career.
