Abi Titmuss has claimed that her memoirs should be turned into a TV show.

The Celebrity Love Island star, who publishes The Secret Diaries of Abigail Titmuss in July, reckons her book would make a "fantastic series".

"It’s got drama, highs, lows, crazy stories! One of my friends read it and said it was like Bridget Jones on rocket fuel," she told The Sun.

"I can’t tell you any secrets from it yet - but I think you’ll enjoy the surprises."

Titmuss also revealed that she is quitting glamour modelling to focus on her acting career. She recently starred in the play Fat Christ at London's King's Head Theatre.

The former nurse said: "I have stopped doing modelling, I’ve got a calendar out this year, that’s kind of the Best Of. But I’m moving on.

"Acting’s always been in my heart, I just kept it very quiet. I have just got a little part in a British film, a comedy, but I can’t talk about that yet!"
