Moss, Winehouse 'ignore' jailed Doherty

Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse have not been bothered by news of Pete Doherty being jailed, say reports.

According to The Sun, Moss has wiped her hands of the troubled rocker, while Winehouse considers him a joke figure.

Doherty's friend Irina Lazareanu contacted the supermodel and ex-lover of the Babyshambles star, but was informed that Moss is no longer interested in the singer.

Lazareanu was apparently told by a pal of Moss: "She knows. She’s seen it on TV. She doesn’t care."

Winehouse, who was rumoured to be close friends with Doherty, reportedly laughed when she heard he had been arrested.

A source said: "Amy’s first reaction when she heard was to laugh. Pete had told everyone he was just going to court for a quick appearance and had no idea he was going to jail.

"She just laughed and kept saying, 'I can’t believe it'. Pete’s just a comedy character to Amy. She thinks he’s a bit of a clown."

Doherty was jailed for 14 weeks on Tuesday after breaching a probation order. He has been forced to postpone a solo show at London's Royal Albert Hall because of the sentence.
