Ashley Cole spotted without wedding ring

Ashley Cole has sparked rumours his marriage to Cheryl may be over after being pictured without his wedding ring.

The Chelsea and England footballer was spotted shopping without the item on his finger earlier this week.

His relationship with the Girls Aloud star hit trouble in January when it was reported that he cheated on the popstar twice in 2007.

Despite initial rumours that Cheryl had forgiven the soccer star, she reverted to using her maiden name Tweedy while visiting LA and wore a necklace saying "Available'" in a new Will.i.am pop video.
