Anderson, Panettiere attend White House

Pamela Anderson and Hayden Panettiere will be among the guests at an annual White House event.

Other guests at the Press Correspondents Association Dinner will include actress Marcia Cross, Perez Hilton, Lauren Conrad and Hollywood star Ben Affleck.

Late Late Show comedian Craig Ferguson will host the evening.

US Vice President Dick Cheney is confirmed to appear at the bash, but President George W Bush has not yet revealed whether he will be attending.

The annual meal began in 1920 and is a popular part of the President's social calendar. Previous guests have included Sheryl Crow, Eddie Izzard and Petra Nemcova.
