Atkinson determined to be Hollywood star

Gemma Atkinson has revealed that she is determined to be a movie star in the US.

The former I'm A Celebrity... contestant is taking acting classes in a bid to land a role in a Hollywood film.

She is quoted as saying: "I'm just about to do an intensive drama training course. I've had a few calls from casting agents in America and I want to go out there and blow them away.

"I've done lots of sexy shoots before but I want to concentrate on my acting now. I'd really like to prove myself as an actress in America. I'd also really love to do a movie."

Atkinson, who is also recording her debut album in Nashville, added that she has no concerns about leaving footballer boyfriend Marcus Bent while she focuses on her US career.

She said: "Marcus and I both realise this is it for us. There's nobody else in the picture. I think if your relationship's solid then a couple of months apart isn't going to spoil it. We're thinking of getting a dog so that'll give him a bit of company."
