Wentz blasts pregnancy "witch hunt"

Pete Wentz has slammed rumours that his fiancée Ashlee Simpson is pregnant.

The Fall Out Boy rocker described the media interest in the couple as "a witch hunt" and dismissed the reports as "crazy".

He told MTV: "There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood.

"This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover...I mean really, this is crazy...I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."

When asked to clarify that he was denying the pregnancy speculation, Wentz said: "Yeah."

Simpson confirmed that she was engaged to the musician last week, telling fans that she was "thrilled".
