Paris Hilton: 'A stalker stole my cat'

Paris Hilton has revealed that a fan was so keen to meet her that he stole her cat.

The socialite said people often come up with unusual ways of engaging her in conversation.

Now quotes her as saying: "I've had some major stalkers. One stole my cat [so he could] give it back."

She added that fans sometimes pretend not to recognise her, saying: "Men will come up to me and try to be cool. They'll be like: 'Hi, what's your name?' I'm like: 'I'm Deborah.'

"And they keep talking to me, pretending that they don't know who I am."
