Beckhams sending Cruz to Jewish school?

David and Victoria Beckham are sending their son Cruz to a Jewish school, say reports.

The couple have met teachers at a private nursery, which is next to a Jewish temple in Los Angeles, reports The Sun.

David reportedly spent the whole day at the educational establishment, while Victoria visited for over three hours.

"There’s no plan for Cruz to be educated in the Jewish faith," said a source. "It’s just one of the best schools for young children in LA."

The school apparently receives twice as many applicants as there are places and has excellent academic standards.

David's mother Sandra is from Jewish descent, though she doesn't practise the religion. The footballer has previously described himself as "half Jewish".
