LA boutique Kitson has dismissed claims that it has dropped Victoria Beckham's jeans line following disappointing sales.

Boss Fraser Ross was quoted by the News of the World as saying that Beckham had not taken an active enough role in promoting her dVb range.

The Fred Segal store was also reported to have decided to stop selling the goods.

However, Ross told Vogue that there was no truth in the reports, saying: "The rumours are ridiculous - Kitson is extremely proud to be selling dVb by Victoria Beckham. We are fully committed to the dVb collection and our customers and Victoria's fans ask for it daily."

He added that he was looking forward to stocking the singer's new men's jeans range, saying: "I've seen next season's collection and I can't wait to get it in-store, especially the new dVb men's collection, launching in September.”
