Doherty to write about Moss in book

Pete Doherty is to co-write a biography of his band Babyshambles.

The singer has signed a five-year publishing deal with Cassell Illustrated to pen an account of his time with the group, including his relationship with Kate Moss.

Doherty is currently serving a 14-week sentence in London's Wormwood Scrubs prison for breaching bail conditions in relation to drugs offences.

He confirmed that he will reveal details of his on-off romance with the supermodel, saying: "She's obviously going to be in it because she's part of the story."

The coffee table book aims to be a "a classic rock biography that tells all", reports The Independent.

The rocker published some of his poetry and musings in The Books of Albion: The Collected Writings of Pete Doherty in 2007.
