Trisha inspired by Kylie's cancer fight

Trisha Goddard has revealed that she found comfort in hearing about Kylie Minogue's successful battle with breast cancer.

The presenter was diagnosed with the disease last month after doctors found a lump during a routine mammogram. She has since undergone two operations to remove lymph nodes.

The 51-year-old said she had been inspired by Minogue, who made a full recovery after she was struck down in 2005.

She is quoted as saying: "Thank God for Kylie. I'd read so much about her and it was really, 'Well hang on girl, she's all right'."
