Billie Piper makes baby plans

Billie Piper and Laurence Fox have told their friends that they are ready to have a baby together.

The couple tied the knot on New Year's Eve and have admitted that they are hoping to hear the patter of tiny feet in time for their first anniversary.

A source told the News of the World: "Billie's ready to become a mum now and it's no secret that she's been getting increasingly broody lately."

Piper has already given up cigarettes, alcohol and fast food in preparation for pregnancy.

The actress recently made an unexpected cameo in the opening episode of Doctor Who series four.
