Marr makes London Mayor suggestions

BBC journalist Andrew Marr has made some policy suggestions for the next Mayor of London.
Marr, who won a BAFTA for Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain, said that he would like to see bendy buses abolished and called for a 'spider's web' of safe cycling routes across the capital.
Commenting on the forthcoming elections, Marr said: "I don’t want to be party political or partisan about this. I do absolutely approve of a lot of changes that have been brought about, like the congestion charge, but I hate bendy buses."
He added: "I would love to see a really good spider's web of genuinely safe cycling routes taking you in and out of London.
"Lots of us would like to cycle but are too scared, rationally scared, because we would be killed."
