The Hoff in hospital with eye problem

David Hasselhoff is undergoing tests in hospital after having "something removed" from above his eye.

The America's Got Talent judge was taken to the University of California Los Angeles Medical Centre on Saturday.

His publicist Judy Katz said: "He's fine, he had something removed, he's coming out tonight."

Although she declined to reveal details of the treatment, it is rumoured that the 55-year-old checked himself into hospital after an eye injury opened up and started bleeding heavily.

Hasselhoff and ex-wife Pamela Bach agreed their divorce settlement last week.
