Russell Brand: 'I spat at a lap dancer'

Russell Brand has admitted that he once spat at a lap dancer after a sex session.

The comedian told Metro that he was ashamed of the row, which ended with him being accidentally locked out of his flat while naked.

Brand, who described his life as a "relentless embarrassment", said: "I went through a period where I slept with a lot of lap dancers. One night, I brought a lap dancer back to my flat. We watched some pornography, had sex, she didn’t come. It was selfish of me but I went off to smoke some heroin.

"She packed her stuff up really loudly and said ‘Russell, I’m leaving,’ then slapped me hard across the face. I knew I couldn’t hit her back because she was a woman so I frogmarched her out the door.

"Then I did a very bad thing. I spat at her. I’m ashamed of it. Unfortunately, as the spit landed, I heard my door shut behind me."

He added that he concealed his genitals with a pink umbrella and was allowed into a nearby bar to use the phone.

Brand recently revealed that he slept with a weather girl while working in the US.
