Cowell: 'Vanity killed my boxing career'
Published Wednesday, Apr 23 2008, 12:30 BST | By Simon Reynolds

The reality TV judge told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that his career ambitions changed due to his own vanity.
Cowell, who attended Sunday's Joe Calzaghe vs Bernard Hopkins fight in Vegas, said: "I love boxing. I was a boxer until I got vain."
Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone and Catherine Zeta-Jones also attended the light heavyweight face off.
Publicist Max Clifford earlier shot down rumours that Cowell's relationship with Terri Seymour, who didn't attend the boxing match with him, is in crisis.
