Beyoncé, Jay-Z wedding confirmed

Beyoncé Knowles's marriage to Jay-Z has been confirmed.

It was reported earlier this month that the couple had tied the knot at the rapper's home in New York.

However, the wedding was not officially announced and the media were left to speculate about the event.

Scarsdale Town clerk Donna Conkling has now confirmed to People that she received a marriage licence dated April 4, which included the signature of the official who conducted the ceremony.

The pair reportedly threw a rooftop party at Jay-Z's Manhattan penthouse, where guests included Beyoncé's former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Coldplay's Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
