Les Dennis welcomes baby girl

Les Dennis's fiancée Claire Nicholson has given birth to the couple's first child.

Eleanor Grace was born in hospital in London at 4.30am, their spokesperson said.

The new arrival weighed in at 8lb 11oz and both mother and baby are said to be "fine".

Dennis, 53, already has 28-year-old son Philip from his marriage to first wife Lynn.

Eleanor is the first child for Nicholson, 37, who met the TV presenter at a ball in memory of late Holby City star Laura Sadler.

The couple said: "We're really thrilled. This is a dream come true. We're ecstatic."
