Muse singer reveals stalker fears

Muse singer Matt Bellamy has said that he is being stalked by a fan at his home in Italy.

The frontman claimed that he was "freaked out" by the actions of an Irish man who has left unusual gifts outside his house near Lake Como.

Bellamy is quoted as saying: "He's from Ireland and he keeps coming to where I live in Italy. And he keeps leaving bags full of crazy stuff, like loads of bottles with messages written on them.

"He's got loads of poetry that he has written, which is all about the end of the world."

The rocker said that the stalker's messages appeared to be attempting to lead him on a "journey".

"He's trying to create little bits of clues and puzzles that are supposed to lead me to some kind of journey somewhere," he added.
