Winehouse questioned by police

Amy Winehouse is due to report to a Central London police station today to be questioned regarding an alleged assault.

Stories surfaced yesterday saying that the troubled singer hit two men during a night out in Camden.

A spokesman for the 24-year-old told The Press Association: "Amy Winehouse will be voluntarily attending a London police station today by appointment with the police.

"We understand that she will be questioned in connection with an alleged incident in Camden in the early hours of April 23, 2008."

Winehouse's £10 million fortune earned her a place in the latest Sunday Times Young Music Millionaires list.

Her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is currently in prison awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
