Brand admits to Beckham "man-crush"

Russell Brand has admitted that he has a "man-crush" on David Beckham.

The actor and comedian met Beckham in Los Angeles recently, but was distracted as he remembered the footballer's promotional pictures for Emporio Armani, which saw him posing in a pair of tight white briefs.

"I couldn't stop thinking about that little white pouch," Brand revealed. "When he was talking I kept wondering what the little white pouch was doing - I just wanted to poke it! I've definitely got a man crush on him.

"I've got a man crush on Adam Sandler too. I was filming 'Bedtime Stories' with him, but I got the feeling he thought I was gay. He thought the way I drank soya milk was gay, but that could be because I was drinking it off of his bottom!"

Russell has recently found success in the United States after starring alongside Kristen Bell and Jason Segel in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but Americans are still struggling to appreciate his strange sense of humour.

"It's really funny. I'm being interviewed on a beach and because they think I'm a normal person, they think they can ask me normal questions," he explained. "But they are a bit shocked when all I want to talk about is Fraggle Rock!"
