Mourners to gather for Speight's funeral

The funeral of children's TV presenter Mark Speight is to be held today.

The service will take place at St Michael and All Angels' Church in the 42-year-old's home city of Wolverhampton.

Speight was found hanged near London's Paddington railway station on April 13, three months after his fiancée Natasha Collins died of an overdose of cocaine and sleeping pills.

Suicide notes were found on the SMart host's body and in the flat he shared with Collins in St John’s Wood, North-West London.

A full inquest into his death will be held in May.
