Britney Spears has walked around her local gym wearing only a towel.

The popstar was snapped by photographers without any clothes on during a visit to a California spa yesterday.

Spears fetched a bottle of water with only a towel to protect her modesty after taking a shower at the gym.

According to The Sun, Spears is currently following an extensive fitness regime to get in shape for a world tour.

The 'Toxic' singer's ex-manager Larry Rudolph recently claimed that Spears was capable of making the biggest comeback in pop music history.
