Messenger 'excited' to be single again

Melinda Messenger is looking forward to male attention following her trial separation from her husband.

The former model announced earlier this month that she had split from Wayne Roberts, the father of her children Morgan, 8, Flynn, 6, and four-year-old Evie. The couple have been married for nine years.

She told Closer: "It's scary being back on the market - I have no idea what to do. It's nerve-wracking now - I find myself spending so long getting ready for red carpets.

"It's exciting, though, and I'm looking forward to the male attention."

The 37-year-old recently revealed that she instigated the separation following a rocky patch which began two years ago.

Roberts has said that he hopes the couple can resolve their problems and get back together.
