Boyzone's Duffy rushed to hospital

Boyzone's Keith Duffy has been taken to hospital after collapsing with suspected blood poisoning.

The Sun reports that the 33-year-old suffered severe swelling of the arms, legs and face after getting a new tattoo.

"It is something like the Elephant Man," bandmate Shane Lynch is quoted as saying.

The Irish boyband reunited last year to perform for Children In Need. They are scheduled to tour the UK this summer.

Duffy recently admitted he would like to return to Coronation Street.
