Halliwell said she had a soft spot for the 6ft 4in presenter during her time with the Spice Girls in the '90s.
However, he refused to consider a relationship with her on the grounds that she was too short at 5ft 2in.
WENN quotes her as saying: "I asked him out and he sort of said no. I tried to charm him and it didn't work. He said: 'I don't like short girls.'"
The 35-year-old recently confirmed that she will no longer pursue a solo singing career.
