Willcox discusses spirit exorcism
Published Monday, May 5 2008, 12:58 BST | By Simon Reynolds

Appearing on the new Living series Living with the Dead, the TV presenter agreed to let medium Ian Lawman summon spirits that had been haunting her 16th century property.
Although Willcox confessed she wasn't scared of her paranormal visitors, she told DS that Lawman's séance startled her.
Willcox said: "I live in an incredibly old house - the oldest part of it is [from] 1510 - and there's a lot of activity in it, but none of it scares me. I said, 'Please don’t get rid of any of the spirits here, I've got very used to them and don't have a problem with them.'
"That said, when Ian Lawman came in, some pretty amazing things happened. Two of the sceptics got possessed and we had to do an exorcism. After that I said to Ian, 'Look, you’re going to leave me alone in this house, you can bloody well clear it of anything that's going to make my life hell!'"
Willcox added that one of the sceptics taking part was possessed by a suicide, something she describes as "very, very sad".
"I said during the filming that I didn't want it to continue and [asked for] the person to be moved on."
Living with the Dead airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Living.
