Sarandon had 60th birthday tattoos

Susan Sarandon has revealed that she had a tattoo to mark her 60th birthday last year.

The actress had the initials of children Eva, Jack and Miles inked onto her back, but said she was not prepared for the pain involved.

She is quoted as saying: "It really hurt. It hurt so much more than I thought it would."

However, she added that she had plucked up the courage to return for more, saying: "I got another tattoo on my wrist afterwards. But I'm going to save the next one until I'm 70 or 80."

Sarandon recently claimed that she is scared of the effects of Botox.
