Winehouse bailed over drugs video

Amy Winehouse has been bailed in connection with a video which appeared to show her taking crack cocaine and Ecstasy.

The singer was arrested on suspicion of possession of "a controlled substance" after voluntarily reporting to Limehouse police station in London.

The Sun posted a clip of Winehouse allegedly using a crack pipe during a party at her East London home in January. She later checked into rehab.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “A 24-year-old woman from the Camden area attended a London police station by arrangement and was arrested in connection with the alleged possession of a controlled drug.

“This is in connection with an investigation connected to footage passed to the Metropolitan Police on January 22.”

Winehouse spent several hours at the station before being bailed to return later this month.

Peaches Geldof also appears in footage obtained from the same memory stick.
