Model Keeley Hazell has said that she can't understand men's fascination with Page 3 girls.
The 21-year-old claimed it was a "strange idea" that men could get turned on by looking at a picture of a topless woman in a newspaper.
She told The Guardian: "I don't see how you could get off on a picture like that. It's a girl standing there smiling, with knickers on.
"I don't know why anybody thought of having it in a national newspaper, it's such a strange idea."
Hazell triumphed in The Sun's Page 3 Idol contest three years ago, but revealed that she doesn't like being described as a "glamour" girl because of its connotations.
"I hate the term. It's the word 'glamour'," said Hazell. "I'm just a model. 'Pin-up girl' is out of fashion, but I really like the sound of that.
"'Glamour' makes me think of a girl with bleached-blonde hair and a boob job falling out of Chinawhites on a Wednesday night. It makes the whole thing sound sleazy."
